An Error Occur “Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not” valid: How To Fix This Error??

In this article we are going to discuss about the most common Outlook error : “Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid”. There are thousands of Outlook users have already faced this error during sending emails, according to Microsoft’s official site the same error occur when an organizer tries to to update a recurring meeting by clicking Send Update option then the same error message thrown :

“Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid”.

If you will ever notice the properties of the recurring by using Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Editor (MFCMAPI), then you will see that the Form filed of recurring contains “an error code 0x8004010F (MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND)” normally this error error after applying of the following steps :

  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service pack 3 (SP3)
  • Update Rollup 6 for Microsoft Exchange Server pack 2 (SP2)

Apply any of the hotfixes according to your Outlook version, if you don’t want to apply mentioned resolution to fix existing issues then can work around this issue by using following methods:

Method 1 :
Delete existing recurring meeting and re-create it by using MS Office Web Access.

Method 2:
Locate the recurring meeting by using MFCMAPI, and fix the corrupted property.

Steps To Locate the recurring meeting :

  • First Donwload the latest MFCMAPI
  • Launch MFCMAPI
  • Click on → Tools then click on → Options
  • Now Select given two options, and click on → OK button.
  • Use the MDB_ONLINE flag during calling OpenMsgStore
  • Use the MAPI_NO_CACHE flag during calling OpenMsgStore

Now click on → QuickStart and select → Open Folder to click on → Calender
Select the organizer’s Outlook profile and click on → OK, if this ‘MAPI_E_NO_ACCESS’ error occur then click on → OK button until the error dialog box close afterward follow these steps :

a. Click on → Table and click on → Set Columns then click → OK

b. Now locate “PR_DISPLAY_TO” under property Tag Array select and click on → Delete
Sort by using the From column.
Now locate the recurring meeting that contain error code “” in the Form filed.
